On February 24th, the City Planning Board held a meeting on the Farrell Subdivision Plan for the former Ridgeway Country Club property. Representatives of the owner presented an update on the plans for the property in preparing the Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS).
Among the new changes were:
• Elimination of the proposed Clubhouse facilities on Parcel A and replaced with new home sites; and
• Elimination of various home sites on Parcel D that were determined to encroach on the wetlands.
The total number of new housing sites each with 30,000 square feet remain at 99. The applicant indicated that it is continuing to do requisite environmental assessments of the property and will submit an update at a later date. No comments from the public were permitted at this meeting.
At the close of the meeting, the Planning Board Chairman asked the applicant if they were planning to sell the property. The owner representative said they have had conversations with prospective buyers. The full meeting can be viewed here:

We appreciate DPW’s efforts in plowing and salting our neighborhood streets during the recent storms. Very few municipalities have such efficient and courteous workers!
Looking forward to the Spring!
