At its October 20, 2026 meeting, the White Plains Planning Board accepted the Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) for the proposed Farrell Estates at Ridgeway development on the former Ridgeway Country Club property.
Acceptance of the FEIS does not constitute approval of the proposed development. Additional steps remain in the environmental review and approval process.
10-Day Written Comment Period
The 10-day written comment period is now open. Residents wishing to submit comments on the FEIS may do so until Friday, October 30, 2026, at 5:00 PM.
Residents are encouraged to review the document and submit any comments before the deadline.
Next Steps
Following the comment period, an environmental findings resolution will be prepared for the Planning Board’s consideration. The City has indicated that it is not yet known whether the findings will be ready for the November Planning Board meeting.
The Gedney Association will continue to keep residents informed as the review process moves forward.
