Farrell Estates at Ridgeway: Draft Scoping Document for the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) Released to Public

The DEIS Draft Scoping document for the Farrell Estates at Ridgeway is now available for public comment and posted on the City’s website. This document is the Draft Scope of the topics, issues, and analyses to be included in the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) for the proposed subdivision of the property at 400 Ridgeway into 105 lots, for 99 houses, a clubhouse, open space, stormwater detention, and roads.

Approval of the Draft Scoping document does not approve the project.

The Planning Board will accept comments until 5pm on June 6, and hold a special public meeting on Tuesday, May 23 at 6:30pm to allow in-person comments and questions from the public. The purpose of the public comment period is to ensure the DEIS, once submitted by the developer, addresses all topics and issues. Comments should be related to topics that are not already listed in the Draft Scope. The potential benefits or detriments of the proposed subdivision will be analyzed later in the environmental review process.
