Welcome to Gedney Farms
Celebrating 100 Years of History and CommunityÂ
Nestled in the southern portion of White Plains, NY, Gedney Farms is a neighborhood rich in history and charm. With its quiet, tree-lined streets and homes dating back to the pre-war period, Gedney Farms has been a cornerstone of elegance and community for over a century.
The Gedney Association: A Century of Dedication
Formed in 1925, The Gedney Association celebrates 100 years of service to our historic neighborhood. Established by a group of visionary property owners, the Association has remained committed to preserving and enhancing the unique character of Gedney Farms. Through collaboration with local government officials, we work to safeguard the neighborhood’s historical charm and quality of life for future generations.
A Volunteer-Driven Legacy
For the past century, our volunteer-driven organization has served the needs of Gedney Farms with dedication and purpose. Operating as a non-profit organization, The Gedney Association is governed by a 12-member Board of Directors. Representing approximately 506 households, the Association advocates for property owners and reinvests all funds to: promote thoughtful land use planning; enhance neighborhood safety; and foster social connections among residents.
Join Us in Celebrating 100 Years
As we commemorate this historic milestone, we invite all members of the Gedney Farms community to join us in honoring our past, celebrating our present, and looking forward to an even brighter future. Together, we can continue the legacy of pride, care, and commitment that has defined Gedney Farms for 100 years.
